A couple more things I knocked off the old 1001 list:
12. Get into or start a regular poker game. -- Completed. I've been playing in a Friday lunchtime game for a couple of months now. The buy-in is low, but...baby steps.
17. Defrost my freezer. The situation is getting grim in there. I had to chisel my box of baking soda out of the forming glacier. Completed 5/29/06.
Of course, in the grand tradition of ignoring the problem until I couldn't anymore, I waited until I could not close the refrigerator door, but, after tossing out a bunch of spoiled food and mopping up the melted ice, it's done.
35. Become an aunt. (I love this one. I don’t have to do anything but think baby-growing thoughts for my sister.) Completed 3/4/06.
I am a little biased, but Jacob is a very attractive baby.
42. Buy a pair of capri pants that don’t look ridiculous on me. Completed February 2006.
At least, I hope they don't look ridiculous...
