While my results haven't really picked up, I'm feeling much better about my poker game. I don't know if the return to carbs is really helping my game or if it's all in my head, but, in the end, it doesn't matter. My analysis is much clearer and my decision-making is back on track.

It's a good thing, too, because I am going to be playing in the WSOP Ladies Event next Sunday. I am both excited and nervous about it. I was worried because I don't have too much live tournament experience, so I went down to Hollywood Park today to get my feet wet and work out the jitters at their rebuy tourney. While I didn't make the money there, I got what I needed out of it. I know I'm not going to embarass myself away from the computer keyboard, so I can concentrate on the poker next weekend.

If today is any indication, my biggest challenge is going to be to translate the aggression I'm capable of online into the live setting. In other words, I need to not be a chickenshit.
